Community Grants scheme open today

South West Foundation has opened their small grant programme for small charitable organisations to apply for up to £1000. It’s for charities with annual running costs of less than £25,000 and the focus is on charities that address the needs of their community by engaging people in community activities either as volunteers or as people benefiting from the funded activities. SENS – Introduction to Social Enterprise Training Day

We have been working to support the development of Social Enterprise in Somerset for many years but more recently this work has been championed through Grassroots which has now become the Social Enterprise Network Somerset or SENS.  We are therefore delighted to be working with the SENS partners to provide this training day in Wells on the 14th October which is Free to attend for merging social enterprises based in Somerset.  For more details follow the ISEW prog link and scroll down.

The Devon Environmental Business Initiative (DEBI) Awards is open for entries.

The DEBI Awards, which have been running for over two decades, recognise businesses and other organisations across the county that are attaining high standards of environmental care in their day-to-day operations.
